Short background story
Angelica Artifex is a singer, songwriter, and creative force whose music reflects her Swedish, Cuban, and Finnish heritage. Growing up in Sweden in a multicultural home, she was surrounded by the sounds of Cuban music, vibrant rhythms, and artistic expression. By the age of 12, she was already recording in studios and performing at jazz festivals, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for music.

Her love for music also led her into the world of fashion, where she spent years modeling in Milan and working with renowned designers. Traveling extensively, she absorbed different cultures, styles, and artistic influences, which continue to shape her visuals and storytelling as an artist today.

Her career took a major turn when she collaborated with R&B artist Frankie J, an artist she admired growing up. Recording three songs together—Lo Que Pasó, Chiliar, and Borrón y Cuenta Nueva—was a full-circle moment.

Now, Angelica is focused on creating and sharing authentic music that resonates with her audience. She’s gearing up for the re-release of Paraíso, a song that holds deep personal significance and will be accompanied by fresh remixes. Splitting her time between the U.S. and Europe, she continues to evolve as an artist, drawing inspiration from her travels, cultural roots, and personal experiences.

For Angelica, music is about storytelling and connection—bringing people together through melodies that feel both nostalgic and new.
